- 1/2 ounce chicken breast, chopped
- 6 shrimp (optional)
- 6 scallops (optional)
- 4 snow peas, shredded
- 5 bamboo shoots, diced
- 4 mushrooms
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon cooking wine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white or black pepper
- 6 cups water
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 green onion, diced
Egg Drop Soup

Ingredients
Step 1
Boil 6 cups water and add chicken, shrimp, and scallops and boil again.
Step 2
Add snow peas, bamboo shoots and mushrooms and boil again.
Step 3
Add salt, sugar, pepper and cooking wine, stirring evenly.
Step 4
Mix 4 teaspoons cornstarch with 1/3 cup water and add to soup while stirring evenly.
Step 5
Add beaten egg to soup, stir slowly, and then remove from heat.
Step 6
To serve, sprinkle with chopped green onion and 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil.
