- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken legs, cut in to large (thumb-size) pieces
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 3 cups water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cooking wine
- 2 teaspoons garlic hot sauce
- Optional jalapeños or black pepper to taste (see note)
Mr. Wang's Buffalo Wangs
Ingredients
Step 1
Clean chicken meat and cut in to large pieces.
Step 2
Heat wok and add 1 teaspoon oil.
Step 3
Add all other ingredients (except chicken) into wok.
Step 4
Once all ingredients have been blended, add chicken.
Step 5
Cook on high heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
When mixture begins to boil, reduce heat to medium and cook for about 10 minutes more.
Step 7
Remove from heat and serve.
NOTE
We prefer using canned jalapeños. For the amount prepared in this recipe, we would use about 1 to 2 teaspoons.
